The 1993 MS69 and MS68 WTC $1 Silver Eagles are truly tough to come by. It appears that most were in the hands of 1 dealer for the first 6 or 7 years after they were recovered. Now, this True Modern Rarity is starting to land in the hands of individual Collectors. I have researched and talked with a dealer that owned many of these at one time and he agreed with the approximate population of 120. There will always my a mystery about the true numbers since this year was mixed in with the Ordinary PCGS Population for a Regular $1 Silver Eagle. Just try to find an INDIVIDUAL willing to sell you their 1993 WTC MS69 $1 Silver Eagle-VERY HARD to do. The dealers will let them sell, but once they are in the hands of collectors only- it’s going to be hard to find one up for sell and it might cost you second mortgage to own it.
