I would say one of the best coins on E-bay right now, a 2001 $50 Gold MS70. I think its the 2nd time I see a 2001 1oz MS70 coin on E-bay first time was the full set of WTC 2001 MS70 all 4 coins. Its a great looking coin and I am sure the buyer of this coin will look at this historic WTC coin as a true steal at the current price. If you can find this coin on E-Bay look at all the WTC coins that are on there if you remember to search in E-Bay stores.

The $50 Gold Eagle MS69 1999 is one of the coins that you can still get hold of for your collection. With number around 144 in the population of WTC recovered coins the coin is scares but not out of the hands of people wanting to pay for it. The coins is also 1 oz of pure gold that all ads to the value of this coin. The real value that I think you will see in this coin is when people start to retire there collection and the "day-trading of these coins stops. As to the population numbers show anywhere on this web site please see

The coins when they first came to PCGS for certification as WTC recovered coins all coins where certified the same as uncirculated BU coins it was not until later in the process that PCGS started giving the coins a grade like they would normally do with a coin that got a certification. If anybody reads this has a population number on this coin or any other coin on this web site please let me know.

With less than 200 WTC $50 MS69 coins available this is a coin that we are not going to see a lot anymore. The coin can still be found but the population of less than 200 coins is going to make it hard to find in the future. From the picture this coin shows some signs heat as the red copper toning of the coins is visible. All coins from the WTC are Certified by PCGS

Great coin the 1994 $50 gold eagle with a population on 17 coins that where found at the World trade center after the vault got opened. Look at the picture and see the reddish color that many of the coins coming out of the vault has. It has been told to me that its the cooper that is coming up in the coin because it has been been in an extreme heat from the fire that raged at the World Trade Center.
